A documentary film exposing the insidious ways our daily lives are being watched.
Produced by Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Ronan Farrow, SURVEILLED uncovers the insidious ways in which our daily lives are being watched by the state. In a gripping chase, Farrow follows a trail of clues around the world, from the rooms where spyware is coded to the communities where it's being used to terrorize dissidents and journalists. Working with directors Perri Peltz and Matt O'Neill, Farrow exposes a dark world of hacking and surveillance, revealing a quiet but pervasive threat to democracies and to all of us who carry phones in our pockets.
The film will make its world premiere at DOC NYC, America's largest documentary festival. Founded in 2010, DOC NYC has grown to become one of the world's foremost documentary film festivals, presenting features, shorts, and events that celebrate the art of documentary filmmaking.
